Local Community Outreach

Loving Our Neighbors in Grove City and Beyond

At First Presbyterian Church of Grove City, ministry doesn’t end at the church doors—it begins there. We believe we are called to serve not only in distant places, but right here in our own neighborhoods. Through local outreach efforts, we work to share Christ’s love in practical, tangible ways.

Making an Impact—Close to Home

Our congregation regularly partners with organizations and initiatives that meet the needs of individuals and families throughout Grove City and the greater Columbus area, including:

  • Grove City Food Pantry
Collecting and donating nonperishable items to fight hunger in our local community.

  • Van Buren Center Collections
Gathering essentials such as toiletries, clothing, and winter gear to support individuals experiencing homelessness in Franklin County.

  • Central Community House School Supply Drive
Equipping students with the tools they need to thrive through our annual back-to-school supply collection.

These ministries reflect our deep commitment to being a church that shows up where it matters—offering kindness, compassion, and support to our neighbors in need.

“Let us love not in word or speech but in deed and truth.”
— 1 John 3:18
