LSS CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence is a vital ministry partner serving individuals and families affected by domestic violence throughout Franklin County. Their work is grounded in dignity, safety, and hope, offering support to survivors regardless of background, identity, or circumstance.

 

CHOICES operates a 24 hour hotline staffed by trained professionals who assist callers with safety planning, information, and referrals tailored to each individual’s needs. Each year, thousands of people reach out to CHOICES seeking help and guidance during moments of crisis.

 

In addition to hotline support, CHOICES is the only organization in Franklin County that provides secure emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children. The shelter is located at an undisclosed site to ensure safety and offers refuge to those facing immediate danger and who have no safe place to go.

 

CHOICES uses a trauma-informed, client-centered approach in all of its services. Licensed professionals provide crisis and individual counseling, helping survivors begin the healing process. Community advocates also work with individuals who are not staying in the shelter, connecting them with resources and support to overcome barriers and move toward stability and independence.

 

Through our partnership with LSS CHOICES, we support life-saving work that offers safety, healing, and a path forward for some of our most vulnerable neighbors.
