Rise Against Hunger is one of the mission partners supported by First Presbyterian Church of Grove City. This global organization works in communities around the world to address hunger by providing nutritious meals and supporting long-term, sustainable solutions to food insecurity.

 

In addition to meal distribution, Rise Against Hunger partners with local leaders and organizations to strengthen communities and help families move toward self-reliance and long-term stability.

 

In November 2025, our congregation hosted a Meal Packaging Event in the Fellowship Hall. Forty volunteers came together and packed 10,000 meals in just two hours. These meals were shipped to Burundi, a country consistently ranked among the poorest in the world, where they will help provide nourishment and hope to those in need.

 

Through partnerships like Rise Against Hunger, we are grateful for the opportunity to put faith into action and share Christ’s love in tangible, life-giving ways.
